Fairy Tail - Episode 40

Fall of Titania

This is the best episode so far in Erza's arc. Men screaming their lungs out while fighting is always awesome for a mediocre. Natsu is really a bad-ass when he ate the lacrima and convert it to a magical power just like what he usually do with the magical fire. He even turned into semi-dragon-form-like, he has this semi-dragon-scale like embed around his eyes and arms. He was on par when fighting to Jellal which reminds me of Naruto manga's latest chapter release the thunder god flash shit thingy and yellow aura stuff sorta heh. But still if Jellal didn't receive a fatal blow from Erza prior to the battle with Natsu he might turn Erza and Natsu into ashes by using Abyss Break. Too bad he's not good in evading :P

Simon got killed when he blocked the Altairis. I already have this feeling that he will die eventually in the episode though. Jellal is fucking moron thinking he could attain true freedom by resurrecting Zeref, the Lord of Darkness. How could he deal with something like Zeref? I mean, he must be an evil so he has no one word on what he was saying to Jellal. What a dunce. The rest of the Fairy Tail gang was just watching the tower and just praying for the two comrades to survive with their battle  ....  that's what you call true friendship, watching your friends dying while your sitting pretty. Not too shabby.

I don't know if it's just me or they edited some scene from the previous episode they remove this doll-like figure in the Lacrima where Erza should be place with. Nah~ Anyways, the graphics was pretty dull on this episode they should work on it. If I remember this is A-1 Pictures, what the heck? A-1 is pretty damn well-known for their good animation what on earth happened?

Rob, the old guy who save Erza when she was still a child is also a member of Fairy Tail guild. That's so shocking. If you could remember Erza(child) has injured her right eye when she rebelled at the tower of heaven .... Porlyusica, a friend of Macarov (Fairy Tail Guildmaster) used her magic to heal-up Erza's eye but there's something wrong when she unwrapped the bandages .... Erza's right eye do not cry..... A stupid hypothesis .... Zeref is in Erza's eye! hahaha. I didn't read the manga so I don't know xD.

Preview: It seems that the gang got back to the Fairy Tail Headquarters. Starting Laxus Arc next week.

PS: The three death guild somehow manage to survive
